by now, i’m sure you’ve all seen the video of christian the lion. it’s adorable and heartwarming and it really did make me tear up. i later found the entire documentary (still available on youtube, in 10 parts), which shows christian’s journey back to kenya and his relationship with george adamson.
i did a bit of research, wanting to know more about george adamson. his relationship with these animals was demonstration of a very strong trust, as well as admiration for the wild (and vice versa). i was amazed at how these lions took to him.
