HOW FAR THAT LITTLE CANDLE THROWS ITS BEAMS; SO SHINES A GOOD DEED IN A NAUGHTY WORLD…

i’m still trying to recover from our decision regarding mom. it’s all been a whirlwind of emotions – lots of tears. i can’t imagine ever feeling ok or even “getting over” any of this. and you know what, i don’t ever want to. my mom is the single most wonderful person i have ever known and will ever know. she sacrificed so much for her children, just as i will for my silly monkey. because of her, i am who i am and i know that silly monkey will have a wonderful mother in me. more on this later. when i can catch my breath. for the time being, you must deal with my wonderfully sarcastic wit…

we’re working on getting silly monkey to eat meat. so far, he’s tried some ground turkey (not so good), grilled chicken (hmmm… maybe), hamburger (no way), auntie hilma’s meatloaf (not so bad), bologna (love) and hot dogs (hebrew national, of course). it’s all working it’s way, slowly, into silly monkey’s menu. though, anything covered in cheese he will eat…

silly monkey has also developed some sort of ocd about moving his toys from one spot to another. out of the bucket, over the gate, into the bucket, onto the floor, off the floor, into the toy box. it’s a vicious cycle & really seems to tucker him out. what a dweeb.

that’s all for now. i’ll have photos posted by the weekend… probably… maybe… alright, check back on monday.
