PINEAPPLE TIDBITS…

been ill for nearly 4 weeks.  bronchitis times a billion.  on second round of antibiotics.  chest xray shows inflammation and irritation.  no pneumonia.  meds can only be taken when silly monkey is with M.  exhausted.  can’t breathe.  need someone to open my face/neck/chest and rinse it out.  or just give me new ones.

**********

silly monkey got a pair of black and decker toy pliers with his pretend toy workshop, for his birthday.  he is now obsessed with these pliers.  he brings them everywhere.  he “pinches” everything.  AND he sleeps with them.  who knew plastic could be so amazing?

**********

mommy, i need my pliers.
you NEED your pliers?  why?
b/c i need to pinch something.

**********

i love my boy.

how do i absolutely know for sure that i love him thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis much?  b/c i allow him to pick the chocolate chunks off of my blondie and then i  eat the wet remains.   gross, yes, but i wouldn’t do the same for ANYONE else.

**********

my master bathroom is a mess.  i have nowhere to put anything, not to mention the fact that mineral makeup sure is messy and i haven’t seen the true color of my vanity in about a year.  is it even possible to organize a bathroom the size of a broom closet?  and what happened to “master” bathroom?  doesn’t that almost always ensure that the bathroom will be large and luxurious?  grrr.  lifestyle.

**********

mommy… mommy, watch.  this is gonna be a funny part.

**********

i took the sticker off.
why did you take it off?
b/c it was on there crazy.
what does that mean?
i will pinch it and put it in the trash…  i throwed it in the trash.

when silly monkey turned three, it spawned this whole new “time out” time.  an increase to *gasp* three whole minutes, from *gasp* two whole minutes.  it took a few days to hammer out the details b/c you know, when mommy says “time out, right now, three minutes”, it’s SOOOO much different from “time out, right now, two minutes”.

for about four days, it was met with extra tears and “why, why, why” b/c seriously mama, two minutes is not three minutes and i want two minutes back even though omg just last week two minutes was WAAAAAYYYY too long and wah, wah, wah.  but now… three minutes is the standard and brings on new toddler replies, like… “i want to watch toon toons, for just three minutes” and “i will be ready in three minutes”.

getting older.  it’s all so very exciting.
